Building an app is hard and companies that tell you otherwise aren't being transparent about the process. We're here to make your life easier, but even then we still need lots of communication between both parties to be successful. This is why we typically use Slack throughout the development process to speed up communication and to keep a record for later reference.
We set up the first meeting to talk about the idea. We typically discuss the project details over a warm cup of coffee.
After we understand the idea behind your project we work together to build a wireframe. A wireframe is used to determine the core functionality of the software.
We also use the wireframe to get a better idea of how much the project will cost. This is the third step in our process. We typically set up a time to meet where we will explain what the project will cost and why.
The next step is to decide what the website will look like. Here we use a mock-up. A mock-up is basically just a wireframe with the visual elements filled in.
Development begins. Once we have determined the full extent of the project scope we start writing the code. We typically try to build a Minimum Viable Product or MVP so that we can more quickly test the business model.
We talk to some early users to decide what is working and what is not.
We release the product for the world to see!
